My son has suffered from Infantile Spasms since he was 7 months old. I have been the daughter of a Police Officer my entire life and have held the belief that drugs are "bad." Now I believe that what man has used for evil, God can use for good.

I suffer from several different diseases that could be helped by medical marijuana. I suffer from an extremely rare autoimmune disease, Relapsing Polychondritis. It, the other diseases & chronic pain would be greatly helped by medical marijuana.
Amanda of Midwest City I support the legalization of marijuana in Oklahoma. As a disable veteran the VA had me on sacks upon sacks of drugs. none of which cured but created more problems. Discovered medical marijuana. It hasn't cured me but stabilized my PTSD and ailments.

Hurry up and legalize this because I'am sick and tired of having these siezures.

Our 6 year old son suffers from intractable seizures. He has tried at least 10 different meds and has been on the ketogenic diet for almost 5years. We should have the option to try medical marijuana. It is probably safer & might actually help him.

I suffer from severe migraines. They keep me from living an ordinary life. Everyday tasks are even difficult for me when struck by one. I have tried everything imaginable for relief. Doctors have prescribed every mentionable drug for migraines,NOTHING HELPED!!! The one thing i did find was marijuana. And yes, my doctor told me if it works do it. Unfortunately, for those of us that suffer from such afflictions, we pay the price if caught. Believe me it is no way to live having to look over shoulder while buying or trying to find marijuana on the street. Especially when your in tears from so much pain. I feel for millions that suffer from much worse ailments than I do that are scared of harsh punishment and penalties in order to get relief. You have my vote and my families! Thank God for compassion from people like you!

I was for years against the use of marijuana until I became ill. Six years ago I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I had to undergo radical chemo and radiation treatment and had moderate to severe nausea. I tried many nausea calming prescribed drugs and nothing really helped. There were other drugs available that I was not able to try due to the high cost and/or lack of coverage, so in sort of a sick of being sick desperation, I was able to get a hold of a small amount of marijuana. It did not take my nausea completely away, but it was extremely beneficial in improving my appetite in a way that no other prescribed drug had done.
Cannabis was not only a great benefit to my appetite, but it also greatly help with the anxiety and depression that my illness caused. When I think that I could have been arrested and teated like a common criminal for using this just makes me shutter! I do not think anyone should be denied medicine that helps them...especially when it helps as much as cannabis helped me. Many of the drugs that we do allow to treat a variety of condition have far more negative side affects then marijuana does. I really cannot understand NOT legalizing it.

I have suffered from migraine headaches for most of my life. These cause nausea and vomiting that prescription drugs do not help. The only thing that works is marijuana. From the first hit, the nausea abates and the intensity of the headache decreases immediately.

I don't use marijuana but from what I've heard, it can help with anxiety and chronic pain. I have fibromyalgia and it's awful! I also have severe PTSD and extreme anxiety disorders. I've been on Xanax and methadone for pain they knocked me out!

I'm a single parent who has been diagnosed with arthritis in my lower spine. My doctor says I will have this pain the rest of my life. Marijuana has been the only key to becoming pain free. Instead i'm forced to live off pain pills that destroy my liver.
Mikey of McAlester
I spend up to 20 hours per day in bed due to chronic back pain and spastic muscles. Marijuana is the only medicine I prefer as prescribed meds are very addicting. If I use marijuana I can spend more time out of bed and get needed relief.

22 yr old granddaughter suffers Rhett Syndrome seizures can last up to 45 min. Heart breaking to witness. RX she takes tons of don't work. She cant speak so I will speak for her. Injustice for those who suffer silently.

I have severe emphysema caused by radiation treatments. Medical marijuana replaces Xanax, Loritab, morphine and anti-nausea meds for me. It's far less expensive and safer!
Jody of Bartlesville
I have used cannabis to treat my PTSD for 13 years now. I have always been careful to not drive with it and only partake in the privacy of my home. Yesterday the police kicked down my door in full swat regalia guns drawn based on a tip that I was a drug dealer. Of course they found no evidence of this since I am not a drug dealer and only had about a gram or two in my house for my own use. I was issued a ticket and they left but now I have to pay to fix my door plus what the ticket and lawyer will cost me and if I get caught with cannabis in the next 10 years it’s a felony with a mandatory sentence of two years minimum…This is the country I fought for? That my brothers gave their lives for?
I'm a disabled veteran diagnosed with severe depression and chronic pain. Marijuana not only helps the pain so I don't get addicted to pain meds of which while smoking marijuana. It also helps with the depression relieving the suicidal tendencies.
